Enduring

Taken on the same morning as Waiting, the title Enduring refers to everything you see here: the rocks, ancient and immortal; the eternal sea, dynamic, deadly, majestic; the vegetation clung obstinately to the crags and refusing to be torn away.

Like nearly all my shots that day, I set up and kept shooting the same spot until the sea behaved itself and gave me the shot I wanted. Here the tide is receding and pulling underneath for the next wave to roll in, exposing the seaweed in the foreground.

Presumptive as it may be, I'd like to thank you in advance for viewing this picture and hitting the button. It means a lot to me and I appreciate every one.
